Our Commitment
Loavenly is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
Loavenly conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Conformance is verified on every deploy by an automated test suite that exercises the product with Playwright and the axe-core WCAG rules engine. Accessibility regressions block the deploy.
What This Means
- All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
- All content is announced correctly by screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
- Text contrast meets WCAG AA ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- Form fields have associated labels and inline error messages.
- Focus indicators are visible on every interactive element.
- Touch targets on mobile are at least 44 × 44 CSS pixels (WCAG 2.5.5).
- Inputs are at least 16px font size so iOS Safari does not zoom on focus.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes are used where appropriate.
Compatibility
Loavenly is tested against modern versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on both desktop and mobile. We regularly test with assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, and macOS / iOS VoiceOver.
Known Limitations
Exported PDFs for EFAP daily and monthly forms are built on top of official USDA / CDSS form templates that were not produced by Loavenly. Their internal accessibility may vary. The on-screen data used to generate those forms remains fully accessible in the Loavenly interface.
